Compounding Technician
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to assist us in creating a consistent and quality product.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assemble & measure raw materials in accordance with the work order.
- Mix, blend, cook, pump, and perform all tasks related to completing all required compounds. Complete required documentation.
- Maintain an organized, accurate and well documented inventory.
- Maintain area & equipment sanitation and cleanliness.
- Follow safe material & chemical handling, safe operation of steam pressurized blending kettles, and MSDS instructions.
- Follow standard operating procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Requirements:
- An independent, organized self-starter & team player who can assess needs and deliver results.
- Basic computer skills including Word, Excel, & database entry.
- Proficient in weights & measures.
- Amazing attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- A background in chemical compounding, an industrial kitchen, steam kettles or related experience.
- Forklift experience preferred.
